University Housing is thrilled to welcome Sara Tuttle to the team as our new Property Manager. Prior to joining University Housing, Sara served as a Property Manager for Fairfield Homes for five tax credit properties, along with being a Property Manager and Realtor for Dave Hoisington Realty. Sara has been an active Property Manager and Realtor in the Athens area since she obtained her Ohio Real Estate License in May 2010.

Sara has over 12 years of experience in real estate management, land contracts, asset management, affordable housing, tax credit housing, transitional housing, commercial real estate sales, residential sales, investment sales and property management. Sara’s first year selling real estate in Athens she was the top-selling new agent in Athens. Along with her Ohio Real Estate License, she also has her Ohio Property and Casualty Insurance license.

Sara has been married for 16 years to her high school sweetheart Ian. He is a foreman for a local custom home builder based out of the Athens area. They have two beautiful children together, Braidin their son who is 16 years old and a sophomore at Alexander High School and Mackinze their daughter who is 11 months old.

Sara loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, fishing, kayaking, and spending quality time with her family. Her son Braidin plays three varsity sports for Alexander High School, she loves watching her son play football, wrestle and play baseball. She is very active with the Athens County Fair and Albany Independent Fair, where her son Braidin shows swine that are raised at their home in Albany, Ohio.

Sara also enjoys volunteering to help the Athens community. Among some of her outreach projects are the parent liaison for Alexander Varsity football, board member for Alexander youth baseball and football, as well as participation in the Polar Bear Plunge for several years and Project Christmas tree through Athens County Children’s services.
